IT has life insurance for all full time employees
If it was consecutive year to year, but it is not, every year i have to rea earn my increase

I feel undervalued because the pay at our charter school is so far below what teachers in the public schools around us get. I would feel better about my compensation if they increase the pay to at least begin to come closer to the pay scales of the counties around us.
We're all there for each other. They're willing to help each other or just lend an ear at a moment's notice.

No cussing, no cell phones allowed, neatly dressed scholars, respect for the teachers.

I had absolutely no experience, and the interview staff was relaxed and comfortable, and made me feel the same. The interview-to-hire process was very fast.
I actually knew some of the people that my interviewer knew.

Seeing a scholar finally learn a difficult assignment
Many things, but it starts from the top to set a tone in a school. The amount of compliance paperwork that no one cares to look at but must be done yesterday is exhausting. The work load literally breaks people mentally and NONE of it is beneficial for the students. Absolutely none of it.
Administration is stretched way too thin, leaving no possible way for them to successfully assist the faculty in keeping a positive upbeat environment going at the school
