What makes you most happy at work?
Helping customers, making them successful using Elastic, BUT signing more customers, expanding customer $$$$ and providing value $$$...greed is good and helps customers achieve true value with our product..
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Too many resources are reactive and not proactive with customers and the rest of the company in general..Elastic is great and resources take advantage of mediocracy..I'm not one of them and is a road block to more success
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We are all very intellectual individuals in various capacities whether in engineering, field sales, operations, legal or finance...it takes a team to deliver real results. Value based selling needs performance based numbers. My results of delivery on performance is undervalued in my annual base pay.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Empower your front sales leaders to execute and deliver desired results in final negotiations. If a front line leader gets a commitment to execute in mutual agreement then allow us to get approval to do so. Vs not deliver on and then at a later stage desperately reconsider to get the deal done.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Attract better employees vs. being desperate to hire a back fill due to time not filling the right person to excel. All hires aren't bad, but if they don't succeed then the time to onboard is lost in the recycle in needed. Which in long term is a loss operationally and the efficiency to the company
