Compared to offers at other companies of similar profiles, Elastic seemed to have a lower compensation figure

The compensation package is overall solid. But the quota's set for sales are not attainable, therefore indirectly not showing the value for sales and our work.

We are all very intellectual individuals in various capacities whether in engineering, field sales, operations, legal or finance...it takes a team to deliver real results. Value based selling needs performance based numbers. My results of delivery on performance is undervalued in my annual base pay.

try new things, take a chance, be bold, look a little longer term

Attract better employees vs. being desperate to hire a back fill due to time not filling the right person to excel. All hires aren't bad, but if they don't succeed then the time to onboard is lost in the recycle in needed. Which in long term is a loss operationally and the efficiency to the company

at the moment we have too many internal challenges and I'm spending too much time with internal things and not with my partners - mostly because we have no resources

Too many resources are reactive and not proactive with customers and the rest of the company in general..Elastic is great and resources take advantage of mediocracy..I'm not one of them and is a road block to more success
