The Shut it Down Fridays. Working remotely across time zones can be intense, and sometimes the days end up long. Having a monthly break from all of it helps catch up physically and mentally. I wish they would bring it back to 2 a month.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The source code: meaning the culture values set up by Ash. Especially the come as you are. It ensures that you can be yourself at work. Many times people will have to take care of a sick kid while working, and nobody bats an eye.

The culture is come as you are. So diversity and inclusion is natural. If you have to skip a meeting to take care of a sick kid, it will be recorded so you can catch up when you are back. Elastic allows you to do your best work while you live your life.
