Executive Bio
Mr. Robert I. Toll, also known as Bob, has been Executive Chairman of Toll Brothers, Inc. since June 2010. Mr. Toll served as Chairman and CEO of First Huntingdon Finance Corp. He was named CEO of the Year by Builder Magazine in 2005. In 2007, 2008, and 2009 Institutional Investor magazine named him the Best CEO in the Homebuilders & Building Products industry. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Cornell University in 1963, and his LLB degree, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1966. He was named Cornell Entrepreneur of the year in 2005. He has been a long-time fundraiser for the American Red Cross and now the American Cancer Society. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Cornell Real Estate Council, Seeds of Peace, and Beth Shalom Synagogue. He is currently a member of the Board of Overseers at University of Pennsylvania Law School. Previously he was a trustee of the University of Pennsylvania, where he established the Albert & Sylvia Toll Scholarship Foundation. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Opera.
