Samuel C. Wilson — Senior VP of Small Business & eCommerce and GM of Small Business & Ecommerce at 8x8

Mr. Samuel C. Wilson, also known as Sam has been Senior Vice President and General Manager of Small Business & eCommerce at 8x8, Inc. since October 19, 2017. Mr. Wilson is responsible for all global small business and eCommerce sales, operations and delivery with an aim to accelerate growth and productivity in this high-volume, transactional business. He joined 8x8 from MobileIron, where he was instrumental in taking it public and part of the team that grew annual billings from $26 million to $200 million including building and leading its eCommerce business. Prior to MobileIron, he spent 14 years in technology banking, both as an analyst covering communications and as an institutional investor. He was a Co-Director of Technology Research and Senior Analyst at JMP Securities LLC and JMP Securities LLC, Research Division. He joined JMP Securities LLC, Research Division in February 2003 and covered communications equipment. He served as Research Analyst of BofA Merrill Lynch, Research Division. Mr. Wilson worked at Merrill Lynch for three years covering the data networking industry. He served as Equity Analyst at Banc of America Securities LLC, Research Division. Previously, Mr. Wilson worked for four years at Applied Materials in various engineering and management positions. He was a Captain in the United States Army, stationed in the United States and Europe, with military service including Airborne, Ranger and Air Assault courses. Mr. Wilson holds M.B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from Seattle University.
