What do you like best about the leadership team?
We get along really well and communicate.
Can't say I don't know them.
Our Store Director is nice, as is the second in command. I feel that they do the best they can with what they are given, but upper management only cares about money and most are over paid for what they do.
Decent work ethic and friendliness.

Holding individuals at store level accountable.
Treating employees as equals and not as workers they can easily replace

they need better employees ones that actually does the job they was hired for and they could have a cleaner better looking store that doesnt sale old out of date foods and to get rid of the rats and roaches

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My customers love me and I love them. Sometimes i feel unappreciated.
I would like if management would listen to the employees and salary paid management got paid a little bit better.

I feel undervalued because the pay compared to other companies is amazingly low. When you work hard you expect to be rewarded. Not laughed at when you ask for a raise. HEB starts people off at 13 an hour. Brookshire's 7.25. Was made a part time employee who worked 45 hours a week. what beniefts.
More pay would make for a better overall experience.
I would feel better if they simply treated people with respect and higher pay

What are some of the best things about your team?
We all get along. We all work together.
Everyone was friendly and hard working and went the extra mile for customers at least since last of May

We treat each other like family, we all look out for each other on a personal level

My team has great chemistry. We get a long great and are able to work off each other. The problem is upper management doesn't want us working as a team. They want to have somewhere there all the time when it makes little sense to do so.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
It is imperative that all workers and their managers work in harmony with one another, through communication and positive reinforcement. If these aspects are improved, the workplace would benefit greatly.
The company is just unprofessional on every level.

It's a caring and loving environment
Nothing at the moment cause the people who own and run it are actively ruining people's lively hood

What did you like most about the interview process?
When I was being interviewed it didn't even feel like one, it felt like a pleasant conversation with my previous boss, they were very charismatic and I felt like I would enjoy working under them and I did!

What makes you most happy at work?
Getting to see my customers.
What made me happy was being able to work with a decent wage and putting smiles on customers faces but that has changed now
Hearing people comment on how nice it is and how the customer service is top notch.
