The leadership team genuinely cares about their employees. From our entry-level positions to our high-level positions, they understand each employee is making an impact on the company and recognize that contribution. Very approachable and transparent.

Our management team works hard to make sure that the employees feel 100% comfortable coming to them with any feedback they have. Boostability was built on employee suggestions and feedback and we want to keep it that way!
I really like that they recognize employees and people with lives and situations. It does not feel like we are just a body in a chair. They seem to really care about their people.
They seem personable and care about us and the work we are performing. They ask questions about my daily life and I always feel like I can talk to them.
They ask for feedback and they try and listen to that feedback.

Listening to feedback, having morals.
I feel like I was hired for one thing, but now I'm doing someone else's job. A job I'm not qualified for and have not had enough training to be sufficient at. Can we get more website partners please? Or hire more people if we're that shorthanded

What is the best part about your compensation package?
I feel like I'm paid fairly for my role and my responsibilities. Our benefits package is robust and the HSA match is a game-changer and definitely an integral part of the compensation package.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Low pay, lower than working in fast food. Grunt work was boring. Having higher pay, better benefits and more meaningful work would help.
This is clearly a starter job and not a career for people in my field
I feel undervalued because the minimum wage has not gone up to account for inflation. I would feel better compensated if we could opt out of boost merch and get more pay raises instead.
I'm hardly paid enough to make ends meet. Especially since bonuses have been cancelled this year due to the pandemic.

What are some of the best things about your team?
They are friendly to me.
All of us want to help each other succeed and enjoy our time at work. We are all genuinely friends and enjoy spending time together both at work and after work.

We have a daily team huddle and also team activity that helps decompress and reenergize.
We're all just super funny. They brighten my otherwise boring work days.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It's nice that we get to play games together.
The people make the culture and contribute to the overall positivity of the company. We're all trying to lift each other up and make the 40 hours of work each week enjoyable rather than bearable. When things are particiularly stressful, my boss reaches out to make sure I have the support I need.

Difficult to say. Work from home makes things more difficult than when in office in terms of culture.

We need more websites to build. Please bring on more partners.
Give us more design work. That's what we were hired to do. Not to help on other teams tasks.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was a quick process and I felt like I had a good representation of what the culture of the company was like in the interview.

The recruiter kept me informed throughout the process.
At first the video interview felt really weird and awkward, but it really allowed me to show them I was more than a resume :) I think the initial video interview is a super cool idea and I hope more companies pick it up.

Working from home has been great. My manager hears my needs and requests and does what he can to solve, and gets the answers for me. I have enjoyed being here since day 1. I like the community slack groups so everyone can still feel connected.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
There's lots of miscommunication and information silos.
Our clients are aggressive and draining to talk to, I dread speaking with them each day.
I've enjoyed my job at Boost, but ever since all the website partners have left, I'm doing someone else's job. I understand that other teams need help, but I am not having a good time. Please bring on more website partners.
Boostability is constantly changing and growing. The only things that I wish were different would be to have more PTO or at least longer Maternity Leave/Paternity Leave.
