The team as a whole is great, so nice and respectful of your time and your family.

Leadership has a clear vision of where they want to take the company and are always innovating to make sure employees have the tools and resources to be successful. They are very open to new ideas and believe in one single supportive team.

The leadership team does keep us posted at the Town Halls and that is something that I'm grateful for. It is helpful to see what happens at all levels of the company.

You cut my salary and told me that I would make it back with the bonus program. You changed the bonus program 3 times since I started 4 years ago. You grossly underpay employees. I have no room for advancement and I'm in a dead-end job.

Being honest and genuine with the staff. There are many times when their statements are disingenuous.

The leadership team needs to communicate their goals to each department and make overall strategy clearer. They also need to take a more active role in understanding each level/component of the business -- it is clear they don't try to learn about what some teams do.

The benefits we received are mostly okay, however, I feel the health insurance provided by Cigna is not providing the same coverage as other health insurance carriers. Example: Rx coverage, an Rx that I've taken for years that has been covered by our health insurance carriers, is now not covered.

sales quotas do not match overarching yearly goals

Goal setting does not seem fair. You are punished for having a good month with the next months quota. and for those people who had a bad month, they are rewarded the next month with soft goals. It does not seem to factor in real opportunities. It just manages bonus compensations

Nice and funny and pleasant to work with

Everyone has a positive attitude and are supportive. Team members are always happy to answer a question or provide guidance. We truly care about each other's success.

Our team consists of mostly new team members, but we make a wonderful team! Each one of us is willing to jump in and help where needed, none of us are afraid to help anywhere. We enjoy getting to know each other, but also working hard!

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Better perks/employee engagement, especially for those who are forced to occupy the corporates offices while the majority of co-workers are able to work form home

Better salaries, better bonus programs. You need to clean house with some senior leaders who don't know how to lead.

Replace toxic management and stop the constant, phony "cheerleading".

Better communication about the reasons behind changes. It might help some employees to accept the changes and not fight against them.

Encourage work life balance and PTO. And improve the middle/senior management -- there needs to be a 360 review process. Too often, the managers with the loudest voice win.

Those I interviewed with were genuinely interested in getting to know me, kept me informed throughout the process and provided informative answers to my questions.

Breadth of expertise being verified and two way dialogs.

I really liked how invested and kind all of the interviewers, they wanted to know about why I wanted to work for APFM, and I still use some of the advice I was given 3 years later.

Helping seniors find the community that are perfect for them and helping customers find residents that will thrive in their communities.

I love what I do!

Knowing that the mission of APFM is one that we can rally around - helping the caregiver

I am able to help families find the right solution fairly quickly and really good feeling when I can provide them options or direct them to right resource for their search

I think the workload at times in unrealistic. The metrics are unrealistic and instead of focusing on what's important I feel like we are just checking boxes to make sure the metrics are done but there is so much more to the role.

We're drowning in toxicity and bureaucratic processes. Without a change of leadership nothing will change.

We are essentially a technology company, but the technology we use to support and track our immediate work responsibilities and processes is extremely manual and prone to error. Other issue from my perspective is some leadership is slow to make decisions - too many layers of approval.

Auto-generated emails and texts are being sent to our leads without our knowledge and it makes us look incompetent because we may have just spoken to them. Several have asked me. "Do you still need an update since we just spoke?" Changes are being made too quickly and not communicated well.
