Smart. Transparent. Believes in the science and mission.
Down to earth and transparent.
Our leadership team is transparent, visible, and engaged. They care about employee development and I feel are poised to scale the organization over the coming years.

We have an attractive 401K match, which stands out to me for such a young private company.
Competitive Salary, unlimited time off
Commuter costs fully covered and employer contribution to HSA to cover Health Insurance Deductible. Stock options also very good.

We have a very diverse workforce. People come to work motivated by the promise of developing a new modality for patients with autoimmune disease and this creates a positive, collaborative energy amongst my colleagues.
Abata launched with top-quality talent and a compelling vision. Those two attributes have attracted talent in every functional area. My team is integrated with all other focus teams in the company, which makes our work productive, interactive and educational. We're all growing together.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Positive vibes from the CEO to those on the ground floor. She sets the tone and we all rally with her. Samantha sends the most thoughtful end of week messages to recognize our contributions. It is the highlight of my week.
Everyone is very understanding of each others humanity and that we are all trying to juggle far more than what we have on our plates at work

There is a clear emphasis on work-life balance that runs all the way up to the top of the organization. We are focused on driving toward our mission while understanding that everyone has personal & life-related goals that are important for happiness and sense of well-being.

What did you like most about the interview process?
The conversation was two ways so both the company and I could assess fit. My now manager made me feel wanted and needed.
Even though it was a very extensive interview process, I didn't feel as overwhelmed as I was expecting. Everyone was very laid back, personable and kind.
Meeting a wide variety of people and timely communication throughout the process.

It was clearly important to the company to have me meet with a very broad set of colleagues across functions and levels. I appreciated the level of commitment to the process afforded by the team and it provided a broader perspective of the organization than I was used to experiencing.
The multi-round interview process included a large number of team members across functions and levels that helped me to get a good sense of morale, values, & culture. This was an important part of my decision-making process.
