The company doesn't pay their contractors. They will tell you that you have a definite assignment that starts on a certain day but expect you to sit around for months without being paid.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Stop lying to people who need their livelihood.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Don't work here at all thus don't even interview with them.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Not lying. When a contractor has an assignment ending in two months, they should not tell the contractor that they have a definite contract and not to job hunt, and then never bother to tell the contractor that there is no job. Thus the contractor ends up not being paid for months.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I'm not being paid at all. They told me I had a job and then there was no job and they never bothered to tell me. They expect contractors to sit around on the bench without being paid. Since no contractor would actually do that. They keep lying about the definite job they are having you start.
