The management plays around all day and tries to bribe people to bring presents to her kids birthdays

I feel undervalued, because I am being worked to death against my availability since our department manager left. My superiors have not taken action to bring someone in to fill her position, instead putting all the managerial responsibilities on me despite my refusals.

No one seems interesting in working together. They actively get mad if you help the same customer as them to help expedite the customer experience.
Show up to work so you dont have to work multiple departments. They work when they want

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
I get anxiety coming to work thinking about what I'll have to clean up! There are no competent backups! No one wants to work here! No incentives for new hires!
Hiring more employees so that the people in the respective departments can focus on their own work.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Cleaniness and some kind of standards
Do better background checks. Don't automatically hire people that walk in the door. Go more in depth with interview questions. Have the department manager there while the interview is going on.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Prices are too high. Store is instructed to follow the inventory ordered from a computer, often neglecting actual community needs. Too many last minute changes to sales and pricing.
