What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Eliminate standardized testing and restrictive policies that discourage diversity.

They take forever to schedule interviews, don't coordinate well, and are not good at following up with referrals.

Acquia needs to improve its overall approach to interviewing software engineers. The result is some engineers titles are over/under-inflated and this isn't realized until later. We do a good job with culture fit, though, so they're all great people and it tends to work out in the end.

Speed it up. It shouldn't take months to get someone in when they're clearly the right fit. Don't be so worried about finding the perfect fit. Find great people who work hard and come recommended. The team of employees will figure out the rest.

It *has* improved. The past culture was focused on waaaaay over-interviewing. We now do three rounds, and that seems much better.
