transparency, visibility, honest & integrity
The leadership team seems decently friendly.
Acquia has the strongest executive team of any company that I've worked at. All of the execs are experts in their area, they work well and closely as a team and are transparent and communicate with the entire company and ensure alignment on the key objectives of the company.
Transparent employee focused motivating and more
Smart and transparent. The executive team care about the people and are good coaches.
Clear vision and concrete roadmap
Spend more time with offices outside headquarters

Communication between departments and visibility

Prioritizing goals and executing to completion

everything was fixed and good insurance
All of it and more
Paid 100% bonus last year.
Regular reviews and open discussions about how to get ahead make me feel like the company is focused on helping me advance. I have received raises more than once a year although I am not sure that is common.
Pretty good base and great bonus
Review from Sales Dept
Being hired to do a job for your expertise and then told exactly what to do isn't fulfilling and breaks trust. Don't treat people like "the help" even though you are paying them.
Stocks options should be also part of compensation
Promotions and raises have been notoriously hard to come by and I've been fighting for both for years. Joined the company with a quarterly bonus expectation which was removed. No 401(k) match
I know for a fact I am underpaid by 50%-70% (depending on the person) compared to male colleagues in similar roles. It's rampant and wrong. If it's such a great place for women, I am not a part of that movement and neither is any other woman I know in this company -- many anecdotes supporting this.

Other forms of recognition: promotions

The "hands-on" people try very hard despite the leadership, which helps them get through the day.
In general we all see the same things so there is sanity in shared suffering.
My team members are great. They embody the spirit of the old Acquia.
Friendly driven positive employee focused
Teammates are knowledgeable and hardworking
Product and Engineering teams have several people who I would describe as straight up *toxic*. I have felt discriminated against as a woman several times by colleagues.
Review from Product Dept
Be kinder to one another. Need more training for our own products. Less silos.
Review from Engineering Dept
Being remote is great and there is no requirement to have your camera on during meetings.
We live our shared values every day, which drive teamwork, collaboration, accountability and trust.
Flexible employee focused team oriented
Better when we were in the office. We are starting to get back more often.
Great people and a supportive environment.
Clear roadmap and vision. Remove micromanagers
flexibility is a real plus, but also a minus because it makes it easy to work all night.
Review from Product Dept
Constantly putting out fires. No time allowed to proactively plan ahead and fix things before they break again. Too focused on the quick fix
Review from Engineering Dept
Pay people fairly. Hold everyone accountable. Hire the people in the right places and in the right times. Think long and hard before laying people off, as you might need those people in the next quarter.
It was fairly quick and didn't take long
The opportunity to meet all of the key leaders.
Quick feedback and quick process
They showed that they wanted me
I learned a lot about the company.
Eliminate standardized testing and restrictive policies that discourage diversity.
They take forever to schedule interviews, don't coordinate well, and are not good at following up with referrals.
Review from Product Dept
It *has* improved. The past culture was focused on waaaaay over-interviewing. We now do three rounds, and that seems much better.
Review from Customer Support Dept
Better follow up from HR and more structure/preparation during the interview
Review from Marketing Dept
It was very disorganized, highlighted by poor communication. Months went by without any contact.
Review from Engineering Dept
The opportunity for growth and to contribute to our success.
My boss team culture leaders pay contributions
Work is fulfilling and i i an learning a lot.
Hitting my number and celebrating with my co-workers
My coworkers and managers especially when we are brainstorming solutions. The siloing between departments is a burden though.
Management doesn't know ground reality. They don't talk directly with people doing actual work.
Better product leadership. More focus on customer innovation, less on maintaining legacy code and "old ways". More support of women in tech.
Review from Product Dept
Inter-department communication and collaboration sometimes falls short.
Review from Engineering Dept
Culture is changing for the worse. Too focused on "enterprise" and "hitting numbers" and less about being a thought and implementation leader. High attrition of creative technical talent. We need to fix this.
Review from Engineering Dept
Upper management is communicating a set of goals clearly, but creating actionable plans to achieve these goals has been a slow and uncoordinated process.
