Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I was responsible for putting all of them through the Gallup Strengths 400 point analysis, and reviewing the results. They are well aligned as strategic thinkers, they don't bring their egos into meetings, and they combine a sense of fun and accountability to the mission. They empower the team.
We actually measured our full leadership team and put the results data on screen for the company to examine. Their scores on the 400 question Gallup Strengths showed that all were adept at strategy, innovation, and building relationships. They lead by example, always positive and supportive.
Honest, transparent, committed, no drama.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Terrible managment. Need to learn how to treat employees better
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Admiral has gone over and above what comparable size companies have in some scenarios. They take bonus strategy seriously and provide good 401k, stock, and health benefits. PTO is open-ended, and remote work is supported broadly. All good.
Admiral has stepped out beyond where many other companies of similar size has, to provide a strong benefits package, with health, 401k, bonuses, and more. The ability to work from home, and a very generous and trusting leave policy, have been a significant positive factor for me and my family.
The 401k package was better than many peers of our size and tenure, strong contribution by the company. Easy to arrange company lunches for a full remote workforce, solid health benefits and options, and company stock incentives.

What are some of the best things about your team?
Accountable. Self-starters. Everyone is on a joint mission, not their own agenda. I've seen zero politics, just the desire to help our customers succeed. At team summits, we've enjoyed building relationships over 8 man rowing, walking in parades, game nights; culture and relationships matter.
No egos. Everyone is on the same team. We support each other, cheer each other, and are quick to come together to solve challenges for any customer. I love the daily enthusiasm for pushing forward, improving, growing, that I see in every team member.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Despite being remote we are very collaborative and take steps to build relationships across teams at every level. We know we are at a disruptive point for online publishers, and we have a great solution to help them survive and thrive. Everyone looks forward to each opportunity to help a customer.

What did you like most about the interview process?
It was more human, less about psychological testing and HR driven process. Had a chance to talk with key people I would be working with. Transparent, straightforward.
Frank, open dialogue. No tricks, not obfuscation or opaque walls by HR. I spoke with my manager, his manager, and potential colleagues. Everyone's questions were answered, on both sides. Admiral believes in performance, I had a track record to share, and the team were proven leaders.
the focus, the authenticity, the desire in their behaviors to really find the best candidate, the best fit, so the overall team can continue to be a special place to work.

What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to do good work, using the latest technology, and to be respected among colleagues for pulling my weight, and helping the company propel forward. I love what I do, and Admiral gives me the support to do it, and the freedom to try things that might fail, as long as we learn and grow.
Doing work that I love, seeing the impact it can have on our team, partners, and customers. I love mentoring and helping others on the team achieve their goals, and when we can all collaborate to help a customer achieve their goals. It's great to see their visitors connecting with the brand.
