Depends on the exact position. Prior agency/consultancy experience is preferred. Recruiting Coordinator candidates should be friendly, have a good sense of urgency, provide outstanding service to our candidates and clients, be able to balance multiple ongoing priorities, and have experience with MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Google docs/drive. Past experience as a Recruiting Coordinator or HR Assistant is not required--a willingness to learn is!
What kind of interview questions do they ask when hiring someone in the HR department at Akvelon?
Interview questions vary based on the exact job requirements; candidates are typically asked about past relevant work experience, tools/technologies used, any accomplishments the candidate is proud of, what they found challenging or frustrating in past roles. Technical Recruiter candidates are usually asked about their metrics in past roles, the type of roles filled, time to fill, etc., relevant to recruiting. All candidates might be asked behavioral-based questions, such as, "tell me about a time when (something challenging) happened, and how you handled/solved it." Questions might also include their preferred team composition and style of working (collaborative vs. independent, large team, small team, etc.) We are always curious to hear why they're interested in our company, and how/where they found us (research, job posting, employee referral, industry reputation, etc.)
