It is an end to end Product Marketing dept. Product Managers are entrusted with taking a product from concept to market including commercialization and working closely with the various worldwide regions to drive adoption. Compared to 4 years ago we now have strong Product Marketing leaders that have built out this department well.

It's not a true product team. It's marketing/product marketing. Leadership is a very mixed bag.

Driven, smart, capable of thriving in a fast paced environment

Align moved in Summer '17 to buildings that are newly renovated. Open floor plan with desks that have very low dividers, so not actually 'cubes'. Desks raise/lower for sit/stand options. VP and above have offices. Zero privacy but surprisingly not as noisy as feared. Ample 2-person 'phone booths' and casual seating rooms that have doors but can't be booked, so calls & impromptu meetings can happen without disturbing other people. 1 or 2 'kitchens' (more like drink/microwave areas) per floor. Communal tables & casual seating areas are scattered throughout the open space for casual meetings. Cafeteria serves lunch (3 menu options per day), plus salad bar, pre-prepared sandwiches, etc. Not enough parking.

I love what I do and the people that I work with. At times I fear the direction we're headed in. Everything has been working very well. Policies and processes are changing which scares me but as of now, this place is perfect.
