Review from HR Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation needs to adjust with inflation and the responsibilities of the role. Going from RC to a sourcer should get a much higher pay increase. The fact that I work at a large company like Amazon and am stressed about paying rent is laughable. Amazon has the money to pay their employees better.

Review from HR Dept

When I joined at a different team I don't think they gave me a fair offer. I recently transitioned to consumer and I'm hoping my compensation will be reevaluated to be aligned with my contributions as well as my team's equity.

No Compensation growth for long tenured employees in comparision to the ones joining now.

Review from HR Dept

More competitive pay to my peers.

Review from HR Dept

a market rate increase and a clearer path to promo for L7 sourcer

Review from HR Dept

I feel I should be compensated more due to my 20 years of recruiting experience prior to assuming this position. I believe I have that value.

Review from HR Dept

The performance management process is horrible and only successful for those that the manager likes, others are left to dwell in frustration, limited growth or are managed out. It is incredibly biased. Those that have been at the company are grossly underpaid in comparison to new hires.

Review from HR Dept

Not sure about that if I am undervalued

Review from HR Dept

We talk about scope and scale at Amazon and often the feeling is that Amazon's is much higher in both regards compared to similar companies/industries. However, these companies can pay more, which creates issues for employees to remain in their role when they can potentially make more money elsewher

Review from HR Dept

The amount of paid time off we receive is abysmal, especially compared to other companies of the same size. Given how little PTO we get, and how few paid holidays we get, compensation should be much higher.

Review from HR Dept

The work to pay ratio is off. Higher pay would make feel better.

Review from Operations Dept

Higher base pay against inflation and aligned with cost of living

Review from HR Dept

higher base salary to match inflation and competing salaries in the market

Review from HR Dept

Working on contract without any benefits

Review from HR Dept

The understanding that to make a jump to the right pay range I would have to leave Amazon and come back in order to feel that I am earning the compensation here that I deserve.

Review from HR Dept

The base salary in recruitment is low. It should be higher, we bring the talented people to the business that are going to make the business grow. The workload that we have in consumer recruitment is very high and it should be compensated by higher total comp and base salary.

Review from HR Dept

I would feel better about my compensation if I was paid more. Leaving Amazon would result in a 15-20% pay increase, maybe more.

Review from HR Dept

401 k match is very weak. All my past employers matched at least 5%. Capped discount at Amazon to save only $100 a year is also disappointing. I'd shop more from Amazon is discount wasn't capped so low.

Review from HR Dept

Many tasks for a recruiter.

Review from HR Dept

There is a range , I am low
