AMD Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The best part is stock

I have a possibility to earn the compensation and increase it with good work.

Stocks are nice, benefits good

Restricted Stock Units given as a long term incentive.

stock and base pay and quality of work

Comparable Base Pay, Bonus, Equity with a good working environment.

It gives good perks to employees

It is reasonable for the bonus

The stock options and compensations.

sign-on bonus consisting of RSUs

It's the best compensation in AMD

Base salary and bonus payout

Bonuses are high due to the fact that the company is making lots of money.

The AmD Stock purchase plan.

Stocks and what not you would want

Review from Engineering Dept

Restricted Stock offered with minimum 3 yr vesting

Review from Engineering Dept

Competitive and employee friendly. Great company to work for.

Review from Engineering Dept

Average benefits with high employee contribution for high deductible coverage.

Overall package is very suitable

401 and health benefit too

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Yes. Really over worked. Terrible WLF. Waste of time coming to this company

Need to reevaluate as per market

Company should provide more bonus and benefits to Full time employees.

Base pay, benefits and charitable contribution matching.

Review from Engineering Dept

New experienced hires seem to get better packages and it takes years for loyal long-timers to catch up if at all. Seems like a losing proposition to not switch companies nowadays.

The base salary isn't competitive and career growth feels really slow and heavily depends on your manager

Compensation is not competitive enough.

Average out the total compensation to the actual hours spent, the hourly rate is absolutely terrible. Employees are expected to work overtime, work through public holidays, cancel pre-booked vacations, bring laptop on vacation, answer calls in the evening multiple days a week.

not paid enough for the time i work

Increased base salry and peomotion. The new hores have a way better compensation than long term employees

medical insurance is below average, salary not competitive

No benefits working here at all. Pay is the worst across industry, might as well work for no pay, would not make a huge difference

The manager does not explicitly say what to expect, misleading reviews.

AMD is way under pay comparing to other giant high tech companies in North America or in Canada. People turnover rate is high due to low compensation.

Review from Engineering Dept

salaries need to be comparable to nvidia and intel. they are far from that at a Sr. Director and below.
