The level of administrative overhead in IT is extreme. Daily reporting of work progress is a requirement. If you work on multiple projects you can expect to have to enter your time in 15 minute increments. The management level is very over bloated and the worker level is grossly understaffed.

How's the vacation policy at Ameren Corporation?
Seniority. Or depends on who your Supervisor is.
Goes by seniority unless you are buddies with the Supervisor, then you get anything you want... Call Center experience, I do not know the policy in the other departments. I would not recommend working for the Call Center. Or, if you are taking college courses that have nothing to do with your work (just to get a degree to "move up" - arts and photography classes) then you can use any vacation you want no matter who is off. Or, you can come in and work late to make up the time - after your class since it is during working hours.... But, you have to be buddies with the supervisor for this to happen....
How's the leadership on the Customer Support team at Ameren Corporation?
Terrible! There was only 1 supervisor on the Customer Support Team that actually knew what she was doing. The Leadership in Quality is awful, along with 2 more Supervisors on the call floor. This is in the Pawnee Office. They have lost more Dedicated and Good employees in the past 12 months that any company I have ever seen. When that happens, you need to look at leadership, not the employees.
How's the work life balance at Ameren Corporation?
Terrible in the Call Centers. There is a decrease in employees on the call floors, most are taking any available positions in the field or the field offices.
Does Ameren Corporation have any remote positions?
Yes, they have home CSR's.
How does Ameren Corporation make decisions around promotions?
Depends on if you are the supervisors buddy. They like to have degrees, but some of the people have art/photography associates degrees and they get promoted because they are buddies with the Supervisor hiring for the position (which the degree has nothing to do with the position). Outside of the "call centers" you have a better chance of getting promoted for your experience and qualifications. Not in the call centers.
