Mr. Loyd Warnock, also known as Aldie, has been Senior Vice President of External Affairs, Communications and Public Policy at American Water Works Company, Inc. since April 28, 2014and has been its Senior Vice President of Business Development since August 1, 2017. Mr. Warnock served as Vice President of Government and Regulatory Affairs at Midcontinent Independent System Operator, Inc. (Alternate Name, Midwest Independent System Operator, Inc. (MISO)) since March 2011 until April 2014. He oversaw all state and federal regulatory activities for the regional transmission organization (RTO), including working with Midwest ISO States, a non-profit, self-governing organization of representatives from each state with regulatory jurisdiction over entities participating in the Midwest ISO. Mr. Warnock is a veteran utility executive with extensive understanding of the mission of regional transmission organizations and well versed in current public policy issues such as resource adequacy, demand response and the integration of state mandates for renewable energy. Mr. Warnock served as Vice President of External Affairs of Allegheny Energy Inc. since November 28, 2005, where he oversaw the utility's interaction with elected officials, including members of Congress, governors and state legislative leadership. He served as Senior Vice President of Government & Regulatory Affairs at GenOn Energy, Inc. until November 2005. Mr. Warnock served as Senior Vice President of Governmental and Regulatory Affairs at Mirant Corporation in Atlanta, where he led its federal and state legislative and regulatory activities. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Reliant Energy in Houston. He has been a Director of National Association of Water Companies since October 2015. He serves as a Member of the COMPETE Board of Directors and the Electric Power Supply Association, where he served as chairman of the Regulatory Affairs Committee. He served as the primary liaison with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), PJM and the Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia utility commissions and commissioners. Mr. Warnock also is a member of the Alliance of Energy Suppliers Policy Committee for the Edison Electric Institute. Mr. Warnock received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Mississippi State University.
