He served as President of Medicaid Business- Government Business Division at WellPoint Inc., until May 31, 2014. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Amerigroup New Jersey Inc., a subsidiary of Amerigroup Corp. since September 2005. He served as Vice President of Government Programs and Specialty Businesses for Oxford Health Plans, Inc., where he oversaw it's Medicare managed care programs, commercial products and new market expansions. Prior to that, he was an Attorney who specialized in healthcare and regulatory issues for Graham, Curtin and Sheridan. Mr. Haytaian holds a Degree in marketing and communications from Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y. and a law degree from the Saint John's University School of Law.
