Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
All employees at the retail level need to be paid more for the what we have to deal with on a daily basis. I would even take a lower discount to have better pay.
I am part time and have benefits
No benefits , no living wage, no flexibility in schedule. Ive worked for a store...large format and have run literally up to ten miles in a day runnung sizes, being on all day and couldnt survive if i didnt have a dual income.
Bonus paid during Christmas since the long hours

The people, we band together because we are the least valued.
My coworkers are all struggling with 2 or 3 jobs, we bond in the fact that we love fashion and art. But we are all dying over here.

Teammates were great its management that needs work.
all be taught the same things from managers, have the managers be on the same page on expectations from employees. We all were told different things by different managers, then get in trouble when doing it how we were told
better training and communication-once again a problem with management

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The sales team. Management doesn’t realize how valuable our team is - and it’s made up of mostly part time passionate and dedicated employees. We don’t have a store manager and the temporary management has no understanding of the challenges our store faces

Our boss is so negative, mean, and constantly changes her mood so you never know if she’s going to like you or hate you one day.

It was fun and exciting choosing outfits. I was trained the following day. Now employees are not trained, they are expected to just figure it out, which means the mai stays are carrying all the weight of regular duties.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
There is too much product and the product quality is not as good as it used to be. Customer service is subpar and people are frustrated with the lacking product quality as well the decline in customer service. It is consumerism at its worst.
Customers are noticing lower quality items and consistency in sizing as well as quality. Bad website, terrible management, unnecessary busyness and lines from under trained staff/lack of required assistance from managers due to customer demand causing more complaints.
Managers sit back and do non work related tasks while others go above and beyond
