It is a little low for the position. I am well under the market average for my position.

My role, and others like me, complete the majority of the work and hold the most knowledge of our product/company, yet we are compensated way less from a base & bonus/commission structure than other roles who's names may be on accounts yet do little to no work other than push paper and chase people.

My team is heavily involved in the writing and scoping of projects/contracts, yet only the sales person will get a commission cut, even though my team will do 85% of the project/contract work. Also with no company equity option, bonus, or even 401K match, the only monetary valuation is a flat salary

There are no performance reviews which makes the opportunity to discuss compensation sparse. Something standardized to review salary on (at least) an annual basis would be impactful.
