They have a great medical insurance plan, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, 401k with 4% salary match and an attract program to buy company stock. The package is very competitive. The most senior service employees can use 5 weeks vacation per year, and most companies do not have this vacation plan.

What's the office layout like at Arcadis?
Offices are moving to the activity-based work place. This is despite studies done by Ivy League universities that show that productivity and collaboration actually decrease by moving to this kind of work space.
What's one thing you wish you'd known before joining Arcadis?
I wish I knew how incompetent our senior corporate leadership is and how their lack of leadership and lack of inspiration makes morale low and makes it difficult to concentrate on ones daily duties. I wish I knew that they do nothing for the betterment of the company and do not bring new business or new clients to the firm .
How much diversity is there among employees at Arcadis?
Unfortunately because many minorities choose not to go into engineering there are few minorities in the company. However those minorities that choose to become engineers and join the firm do very well here.
How do you feel about going to work at Arcadis everyday?
My colleagues are great & the projects are very interesting.

How would you compare interviewing at Arcadis to other places you've interviewed?
My interview process was OK. However I need to point out that the interview process in each office is different and is also different depending on which business line the candidate is planning to work in
How's the vacation policy at Arcadis?
You start out with 15 days of PTO plus 7 paid holidays. You accrue an added day of PTO for the first 5 years, and also have the option to purchase up to 4 days of PTO during benefits elections.
Does Arcadis have any remote positions?
Working from home is supported, and we have multiple remote workers. A lot of folks take advantage of it after the end of maternity/paternity leave to reduce the need for childcare.
