Mr. Paramjit Kahlon has been Chief Executive Officer of CIS at ArcelorMittal since May 3, 2016. Mr. Kahlon has been Vice President of ArcelorMittal since January 12, 2016. Mr. Kahlon served as the Chief Executive Officer at PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih at ArcelorMittal since February 1, 2015. He served as Chief Operating Officer at PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih since March 1, 2012. Mr. Kahlon served as the Chief Technical Officer of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih. Mr. Kahlon has over 17 years of experience in the steel industry. He served as General Manager of Projects and Strategy at PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih since 2008. He started his career at SMS Siemag (formerly known as, Mannesmann Demag) in 1995 as Project Manager, one of the largest Steel Technology innovator & equipment supplier worldwide. At the end of 2001, he moved to Danieli & C, Buttrio, Italy, where he was responsible for managing the installation & start-up of turnkey steel projects worldwide. He has installed & started-up many strategic steel projects of major steel producers in India, China, Taiwan, Iran, United Kingdom, France, Italy and Russia in period over a decade. He has in depth experience of working with different cultures across the globe and is ease at speaking many international languages. Mr. Kahlon is Mechanical Engineer from Haryana State Institute of Engineering in India and holds an Executive Degree in Metallurgy along with Certificate in Computer Science.
