While we can be sometimes be viewed as antagonists due to our role as agents of change, the nature of the change we advocate empowers physicians and can be a lifesaving tool for patients who might not otherwise receive the kind of care they need.

Since we are a start-up there are growing pains. In my position I have created many of the SOP's in my department in preparation for expansion. Of course it would had been great if these were already in place, but that is not what I was hired for.
