AHS culture is one I am proud to belong

Characterized by a committed but overworked clinical and operational staff, working Atlantic Health System is ruined by a incredibly narcissistic and entitled leadership team. For leaders, nothing is worth doing without it being a photo-op or social media post. Real challenges are avoided.

Good place to work overall, a bit top heavy

Decent benefits, pay p/hr. Average. Definitely divide between worker bees and management. Heavy caseload.

I feel the executive team likes to make constant changes without verifying the complete workflow. To me this is a waste of money when they implement systems that are not efficient or very useful. There have been so many implementations in the past 3 years, I feel waste of money.

Working with people who don't feed their ego minute-by-minute; spending a lot more time in the trouble spots; self-awareness; humility; planning; communication; sharing credit; upward and downward accountability.

The health benefits are really good. Low deductible and isn't overly expensive.

The amount of work and the skill it demands has been doubled or tripled since COVID. Request for raise are ignored. Also, beyond money, I'd just like our senior leaders to visit once in a while and take the slightest interest in what we do.

Very hard to get what you need. Suggestions to make caseload managed better are just ignored. Higher rate of hourly pay.

My Director makes me feel like i have no value

Pto and holiday pay are all combined and its difficult navigating , also scheduling time iff is a nightmare

If doing more than one job, then should be paid better

Individual employees that interact with patients are good.

My coworkers need to stop being lazy and assist more in the work. If they were to assists in additional tasks instead of just 1 person doing majority of the work, we would be able to function better.

Among staff, honesty and kindness are pretty universal. Beyond that point, the organization gets really toxic really fast.
