He served as the Group Vice President of Engineering at Autoliv Inc., since September 1, 2006 and served as its Director of Global System Development and as a Vice President of Seatbelt Development of Autoliv North America. He served at Autoliv since 1988 and has been a key technical leader in all product areas. Mr. Fredin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
