Christopher R. Cade CPA — VP & Chief Accounting Officer at AutoNation

Mr. Christopher R. Cade, CPA, has been Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President at AutoNation, Inc. since June 11, 2015. Mr. Cade has responsibility for corporate accounting, AutoNation's shared service center and its national payroll center and he serves as its Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. Cade served as Executive Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Controller of Nine West Holdings, Inc. (formerly formerly The Jones Group Inc.) since December 17, 2007 until March 2014. He served as Acting Chief Financial Officer of Nine West Holdings, Inc. since April 15, 2014 until May 2015. He served as Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of Realogy Group LLC. He was overall responsible for all accounting and reporting functions within Realogy Corporation, which includes all filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Mr. Cade has extensive GAAP and SEC knowledge as well as extensive transactional experience with mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings and spin-off operations. Previously, he served as Vice President of corporate finance, for Cendant Corporation from June 2004 to July 2006 where he served as Advisor to senior executive management and business unit management on technical accounting and compliance matters. He joined Cendant after a stint as Director, corporate accounting and reporting, for the Public Service Enterprise Group from 2002 to 2004. From 1996 to 2002, Mr. Cade served in multiple financial and accounting capacities in the areas of external reporting, consolidations, general accounting and operations accounting with increasing responsibilities for Pharmacia Corporation (now owned by Pfizer Inc.) and Intermetro Industries Corporation, a subsidiary of Emerson Electric Company. He served as External Financial Reporting Manager of Pharmacia Corporation from September 1999 to October 2002. Mr. Cade is a certified public accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management with a concentration in Accounting, graduating Cum Laude from East Stroudsburg University.
