Aveda is such a large company they need to offer health insurance and other benefits to their eployees. They also need to allow their salons a little more freedom, like being able to booth rent
A product we can belive in again
Our educators are barley appreciated by higher ups, therefore they show up each day not wanting to give their best. It puts us students in a bad mood, and creates a hostile environment. We need new management or our money back at this point. Our PROMISED curriculum constanly changes or is never met.
the benefits are just very expensive, either more affordable benefit options, or higher pay to compensate.
I make barely above minimum wage. But. Thats all they feel we are worth. All the money stays at the top
From a students perspective, ive had teachers talk negatively about one another on the daily. Holding grudges, demeaning them, comparing, express how they feel when our principal doesnt care, or is always in a bad mood. Our principal in dallas, jennifer L. Haack has been the rudest person ive met.
Stop gossping and work together
There are good front desk workers, some good instructors, but i havent met a committed admin who even bothers to PRETEND to care about their job.
Accountability, help, work on bringing other students up instead of tearing us apart.

Be honest about the product and problems
Modern communication with the actual people who sell the product
The company needs to take action and teform the Aveda PDX instutue before we use what theyre doing to us; to destroy this company's reputation.

Explain lack of benefits and real pay
Costmers see and hear all the negative things happening at the school. Students ranting about attending because of our hostile enviroment. Teachers treating students like burdens. Our clients are aware! And they have brought it to my attention too many times to look past it
Customers are entitled and nasty. The corporate office is so afraid thst someone will say something unfavorable on social media that they give in at the drop of a hat. For that reason customers feel like they run the show.
Aveda institute portland needs to be completely reformed. Its creating an extremely unsafe learning environment.
Everything from the way we are taught to the way things are shown in demos to the enviroment. I need my own privacy in my life outisde of school.

Customers know they are not important, they only the bottom line is and they do not trust the brand just as the employees no longer do.
