I love the hair products, oils, soaps, makeup, lotions and I love the tea. I often give products as gifts.
In it for the profits for sure!! But based on which salon youre at, you make good money & do good for the enviornment. The schools are 0/5 stars. They treat students as employees & the schools are only in it cor profits as well, which seems very unethical.
I've been using Aveda products for nearly 40 years. I appreciate the quality of the products & salon services as well as the availabilty of Aveda. These products make great gifts; friends & family love Aveda gifts.

The products are so wonderful and almost organic people will continue to pay hundreds of dollars for them if they're lucky enough to have disposable income so they always find some ready to pay $10 an hour to work the register

I don't know about interviews for other people but she and I had coffee sat down chit chatted talked about the job I would say for about an hour but that wasn't exactly just an interview since we previously had a relationship so we also caught up on family and things like that

The yourself be intelligent be able to grasp on to the basic concepts and build from there as you gain time and experience with the company . You be very friendly comfortable not too nervous or else it'll show but still having a lot of hope I think that shines through when you have some special gift like that

The only outings I've ever heard of are getting professional make up training in NYC .

I don't believe there is a work from home policy

I've never had a drug test prior to starting any job. All employers run a background check, including Aveda
How innovative is Aveda?
Pretty innovative for a close to all-natural company, as they're always coming out with a new formulation for something or another that is almost completely natural.

Daily and monthly and yearly goals
What skills do you need to be successful in the Sales department at Aveda?
You have to care about interacting with the public, asking open ended questions ,making suggestions ,trying to sell products that coordinate with the ones the customer's already thinking about buying and just having an overall good attitude. Being alert, proactive, being able to do make up, make customers feel at ease, and be responsible enough to do the paperwork and all that back office stuff.
