Awardco Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Life insurance along with the normal health insurance.

Review from Engineering Dept

I like the health benefits but I hope it gets better since my friends have better options at their companies and they don't pay as much

Review from Customer Success Dept

The best part is the company's commitment to making it better every year. I know the company is being responsible and wise with their resources

Review from Engineering Dept

They give great healthcare coverage!

Review from Customer Support Dept

Flex compensation to be awarded and recognized for my efforts with items/awards that I choose.

Review from Sales Dept

Hopefully the stock options going forward, but they were put on hold when the company focused on fund raising.

It's nice to have medical, dental, vision, and gym membership.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Flexible time off is so convenient.

The commission structure is fair and motivating

Review from Sales Dept

Sales commission is great 1!

Review from Sales Dept

They do an amazing job and treat everyone equally and to our specific needs.

Review from HR Dept

I think they basics. As they expand, I hope they bring the cost and provide more coverage.

Review from Customer Success Dept

The goal is to make sure that the benefits get better every year! They are willing to take feedback and suggestions. They want us to be happy!

Review from Operations Dept

It could be more transparent.

The commission structure in sales

I love that the unlimited PTO is not a taboo like it is for a lot of other places that implement it. I really feel supported by my team and manager to take advantage of the PTO and use it how I see fit.

Review from Operations Dept

The opportunity to level up and earn more in equity and variable compensation.

insurance that is constantly improving, unlimited PTO

Review from Customer Success Dept

Insurance, Wellness, very flexible PTO

Review from Operations Dept

They are very flexible with time off as long as you don't take advantage of it. They are also very flexible with working around my school hours.

Review from Sales Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I believe that due to our maturity at this point as a company, we're navigating an economic crisis that slows the ability to support employees in an ideal way. There have been significant efforts to leverage leveling to match market expectations, but it's slow rolling.

I feel most of the benefits at Awardco are pretty basic. Could have a better package for health, dental/vision, etc.

The majority of employees in specific departments could leave and get at least 30k pay raise. Not because the opportunities outside of Awardco are better but because of how underpaid we are. Upper-management knows about specific problems and have for over a year and no changes have been made.

Review from Customer Success Dept

I would really like a 401k match.

Review from Marketing Dept

A more established equity sturcture that is competitive with the market.

Benefits need to be improved! Especially retirement planning.

Review from Marketing Dept

Stock options would be nice. a 401K match would be nice, better insurance would be nice

I feel like we should be paid more. Other than that, all is well. Culture makes up for it.

Review from Sales Dept

I am aware that my position is paid less than other positions in the marketplace. If it were more competitive I would feel better about it.

Review from Customer Success Dept

I feel like with inflation and with how the cost of living has skyrocketed in Utah, we should all be receiving raises across the board. Sometimes I feel like we use the phrase "we're a startup" as an excuse to have poor 401k matching, not very great benefits, and low compensation for select teams.

Pay is not competitive with whats out there. There is a lot of talk/promise of this improving especially as we grow. Would love to see Awardco keep this promise because it truly is the best place to be!

Review from Customer Success Dept

Base salary in Sales should be higher. Period

Review from Sales Dept

It would be great if we were paid AT the industry standard and if we had a retirement plan in place.

Awardco is a young, fast-growing startup. The culture is amazing and opportunities for growth are plentiful, but Awardco has a lot of room for improvement in terms of competitive salaries and employee benefits.

I think the base pay for sales could be a bit better.

Review from Sales Dept

Full Benefits, I know we will get there.

Review from Sales Dept

The company is planning on rolling out an employee equity program, but until its here I won't feel 100% satisfied

Review from Engineering Dept

I love my commission structure but do wish my base was higher as I've only gotten one raise after 3 years.

Review from Sales Dept

I think we could be paid a bit more.

Review from Sales Dept

Increase in pay to position standard for the same role.
