This has been the best job I have ever had. There are amazing people to meet, learn from, and collaborate with. There's also super exciting opportunities career wise since we are a start-up.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
They are very comprehensive and offer multiple options to people. They have great add-ons that focus on mental health.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are kind, respectful, intelligent, and overall just a bunch of really good humans. I look forward to chatting with my manager and my teammates. They are welcoming and funny. Creates a really welcoming environment.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The are so transparent with all employees on every level. It's refreshing to be in a space with shared respect of each other and they actually listen to help make Axios an even better place to work!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The leaders, managers, and people at every level make the culture of the company. People lean on each other and are willing to help you. We all have the same goal so there is a definite sense of community.
What makes you most happy at work?
My job duties and my manager. I have never had a job where I felt as comfortable as I do with my manager and communicating to her my needs as a relatively new employee. Given time to adjust has been helpful. The company also makes an effort to get everyone together via retreats, etc.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I liked that it was a very intensive interview process. It was not a one and done deal. I must have talked to at least 4 different people before I was given an offer. Originally I was not a fan, but now I know they really wanted to see if I would be a good fit for the role and community.
