Questions were not standardized, everything was specific to the job at hand rather than checking HR boxes on a form. Very efficient, quick turnaround on hiring decisions and negotiations.

They did not ask textbook questions that have no real value. All the behavioral questions had a tie into the job in question. This meant I did not have to recall some situation that has no value to the job at-hand. Purposeful questions pertinent to the job.
The interviewer explained the job responsibilities as a starting point for the interviewee. Good way to start.
