BAE Systems Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

we work together get gain results

Openness and willingness to engage and stimulate your thinking.

Engagement with the population and communication

Granting autonomy to do my job.

Problem solving, we're all human.

My immediate supervisor and manager are great to work for. Very people oriented and willing to help any employee be the best professional they can be.

Quick in decision making, balanced level of governance and involvement in day to day tasks, as well as knowledge of the processes that occur as BAU.

Transparent , Communicative, and allow opportunity for internal growth.

Accessible and easy to talk too

They communicate often and are involved and available. I have worked jobs where I never saw the executive team and I can't count the number of times I have run into ours.

Review from IT Dept

Outside of Utah, the leadership team is working hard to incorporate DEI initiatives at least at the corporate level.

The ability to listen to hourly as well as mid management.

Chill peeps to be fair

Leadership is patient and understanding, typically willing to hear and act on constructive feedback. But depth and breadth of knowledge is lacking, and much of the leadership is not particularly experiencing in their subject areas.

My managers are accessible and always willing to help solve problems or listen to feedback. They have implemented many of my suggestions, which has streamlined a few processes and made me feel like my input matters.

They provide excellent leadership with transparency to a level that allows the employees to understand changes and disruptions for the profit of the company while striving to complete our mission.

They are very professional and qualified

Leadership team is well received and inciteful

Review from Engineering Dept

They are good at picking which office they would like and which EA they would like to be allocated.

The leadership team was very interactive and open to suggestions.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

leading, winning work, focussing on givng engineers what they need to be innovative and efficient instead of putting blockers and woke agendas i n the way

Leadership needs to get better at taking DEI seriously - there should be a lot more women in leadership roles, including women with children. They should self-reflect on why product line financial salients and utilization are weak rather than blame direct reports. Focus on retaining talent.

A little education would help.

more money for the little people and bring pay scales in line for the whole business not just sertain sectors

The managers and executives are not engaged with the work force at all, they are not trust worthy, and are perceived as being "fake" by the staff in general. This company is only focused on pretending to be nice, professional, diverse and equitable, but in reality, they are only checking boxes.

Review from Engineering Dept

Being truthful and giving time off

The leadership needs to get better at everything

Communication and coordination is awful. There is often simple management duties missed and employees have to be their own managers and advocates

Communication and care more about their employees

Respecting there people instead of polishing their brass

The leadership team thinks they are better than everyone else.

Focus, motivation, planning, getting the jobs done.

Staffing teams appropriately with right talent

Provide much better benefits; i.e. much more PTO

Address the high employee turnover rate and bully culture

Assigning more work and not complaining about how nothing is getting done.

Knowing what they're doing would help.

Letting it's talent actually lead the charge instead of holding everyone back with dated corporate policies, forced fun events and mindless meetings. Focus on the work and stop micromanaging and push interpersonal agendas on employees.

Review from Communications Dept

care about employees half as much as money

Review from Operations Dept

Communication! Get a better safety team
