Listening to their employees instead of ignoring and underpaying them.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Parental leave is second to none.
Health insurance and PTO are awesome.

Bandwidth covers the healthcare premium. Co-pays are low. And in health emergencies, all we have to pay is a $500 out-of-pocket.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
A whole change in the governance methods
Being paid fairly and not having to deal with teams being understaffed because they can make a lateral move to another company for 20k more and not lose benefits.
Bandwidth uses for paid benefits as an excuse not to pay market price for their human assets. Raises are stingy and have to be timed to avoid losing the standard market increase each year.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Love my immediate team. Working cross-functionally with other teams can be a challenge.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Ops especially needa a roadmap to how its teams interact and share workload. All cross department communication is a nightmare.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Be recognized and ability to contribute no matter your position in the company

We are encouraged and rewarded when we workout and do things to better ourselves.
It is very supportive yet challenging, you are able to raise her hand if you have too much on your plate or if you need assistance but are challenged to innovate and push boundaries!

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
adopt a modern culture for a tech company
Pay people fairly, listen to them and make actual moves to reduce turnover.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The responsiveness and transparency in dealing with multiple people along the process.
In person final interviews on site
I felt that everyone was very transparent through the interview process. It was very professional yet warm & welcoming - I could tell right away it was the atmosphere I was looking for!
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
They've made a lot of improvements since I was hired. But I feel like we put interviewees through a long and hard day.

Fitness lunch. We're given an hour and a half for lunch when we work out.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Merger with Voxbone is going bad
Lack of employee voice. Turnover not being addressed. People that are staying aren't being incentivized to stay and suffering due to knowledge loss
