Bank of Hope has a great culture. The Executive Management team is supportive of growth and that is important. Credit is supportive as well. The most negative thing is the inability to telecommute.

Overall good. Good access to Executive Management, know the goals and what is expected of my team.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Compensation at the bank is not competitive.

They are positive and goal oriented

Having success and feeling like I make a difference

The small bank atmosphere giving us access to Executive Management and the Board.

Accessibility and responsiveness. The leadership team responds very quickly to requests or concerns.

The most positive thing about the culture is their support and willingness to grow.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Compensation is not competitive. Bonuses are paid in 50% 3 year vesting stock which is not competitive.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are all willing to do whatever is necessary to do what we need to do without regard for job descriptions
What makes you most happy at work?
Having flexibility to telecommute, however the Company is not willing to do this more than 2 days a week. It does not make sense and is not market. Commuting 2-3 hours a day is unproductive.
