I am a mother of 3, spouse to an active duty soldier, and started BSWH with no experience in HR. I am very grateful for the opportunity that BSWH gave me and allow me to grow in my career, finish my BS degree, pursue my MBA, and provide for my family. I look forward to continuing on in my role.

I love BSWH and am thankful for the growth as I was able to progress and earn my BS and MBA degrees. I look forward to be able to grow cross functionally across TA/HR without being disregarded based on titles.

Ability to grow within the company and ask for refreshers and ask questions about processes without fear.

Team huddles- we lift each other up, share work/life stories, offer advise, ask any questions, provide resources, share information etc.

I love that my leadership cares about me as a person and that work-life balance is huge on our team.

Cross training abilities to cover each other when short staffed, everyone works hard no matter the hour, everyone is responsive and quick to jump into action.

The core values since they are practiced and actually used/referred to. I love that my team is big on work life balance, knowledge share, and support.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Increased incentive hiring bonuses, job grade and description accurately aligned with job duties. Possibility of 100% paid medical premiums, better access to tuition reimbursement for corporate employees or CE budget/funding for career specific goals such as SHRM or AAPPR.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

The keep us informed and ask for feedback and hold open discussions, we have weekly team huddles, and bi weekly town hall with all of TA and our VP is always present. My manager, director, and VP are all accessible and available.

Regularly scheduled Talent Talks and Townhall meetings in effort to keep us in the know and provide opportunity for engagement amoung the team. Improvement to Talent Talks that highlight opportunities, milestones, mvp's, etc. These efforts are impactful to boost morale and engagement.

Wealth of knowledge and tenure. Learn and master systems and processes. Teamwork - no hesitation to jump in to back up when taking PTO including filling in on update calls. Loyal to BSWH. Trust coworkers to represent BSWH at conferences and to hiring departments.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Most of us live here locally and utilize BSWH for its products and services. We are employees yet also customers who support the mission and trust in it for ourselves and families. The team shows up for huddles and monthly regional calls prepared and ready to report out.

What makes you most happy at work?

Work-life balance, I see the downstream impact of my role. I have a variety of specialties and regions that I cover so will there is consistency and stability, no two days look the same. I get to work remote, but I am able to visit leaders onsite, travel for conferences, and meet occasionally w/team
