Executive Bio

Mr. Asheesh Saksena has been the Chief Strategic Growth Officer of Best Buy Co., Inc. since June 2016. In this role, Mr. Saksena leads Best Buy's efforts to refine and implement our growth strategy. He served as Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President of Cox Communications, Inc. from October 2011 to 2016 and served as its Executive Vice President of Strategy and New Business Development. He served as Deputy Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Time Warner Cable Inc. since October 9, 2008 to 2011. He drives corporate strategy development and planning, advise senior leaders on strategy issues and oversee strategy projects. He served as Senior Executive and Partner, Communications and High Technology Strategy for Accenture. While at Accenture he led Cable and Wireless strategy engagements and was Global Co-Lead for its Growth and Product Innovation initiative. His focus while at Accenture was on helping clients achieve high performance through new strategies for driving growth with an increased emphasis on IP, mobility and product innovation. He joined Accenture in 2000. He served as an officer at Tata Administrative Services (TAS). He served as President of TataFone and as Vice President of Tata Interactive Systems. Mr. Saksena earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree with honors from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India and a Masters in Business Administration from Faculty of Management Studies in Delhi, India.
