It’s supposed to be unlimited, but in reality they allow for 3-5 weeks tops (the higher end for more tenured people). At least one of the blocks needs to be a consecutive week of time off. (You cannot take off a bunch of Thr or Fri’s off for the whole year.)
Great for salaried employees (unlimited PTO) but not so great for hourly. When I started, I was told they expect employees to take between 4-6 weeks/year. It's good in theory, but workloads across the board are more than can be humanly handled, so while vacation is needed, it's tough to take.
NO ONE there takes more than 4 weeks and very very few people do that. Unlimited vacation just means they don't have to pay your for it when you leave - this place churns through employees
Generally, take the time you need with approval of your manager.
