Not great and a terrible management team globally
Lowest morale of any company I’ve worked for. Management has no interest in improving it. Employee concerns fall on deaf ears.

How's the vacation policy at Blackbaud?
4 weeks
20 days for the first three years, then 25 thereafter; however, in Support, you must take PTO to go to the doctor or have an emergency come up mid-day. There is no dedicated sick time.
Good. You are allotted a certain number of days PTO and those can be used for vacation or sick days. The allotment goes up with tenure at the company.

Day to day is fast (call after call or chat after chat), but the company itself never implements any new products m, so it becomes stale quickly.
How's the feedback proccess at Blackbaud?
Feedback is almost nonexistent. Formal reviews were replaced with quarterly check-ins several years ago and they are typically devoid of real, constructive feedback.
Management doesn’t do a lot to make themselves seem approachable. During quarterly check-ins, they will listen to your feedback, but not take it into consideration.
What's one thing you wish you'd known before joining Blackbaud?
Execs are not great
Wish I had known how old school/corporate they are. It’s all about the bottom line. They do not see value in offering customers modern tech.

Volunteer for vacation, though that is limited in support. Didn’t used to be though.

They will tell you to raise one stat, then once you do, they’ll fine something else to harp on. Eventually, you’ll be given the promotion simply because there was a spot to fill.

Due to the mount of people leaving, they’re desperate and will hire anyone. Don’t worry about trying too hard.

Excessive consolidation among various departments has caused teams to feel less secure company-wide. To go along with these changes, the company implements more red tape for employees and clients. Clients are not happy, and employees are noticing.
