There are some great managers there. Some really excellent people who will work hard for you. When you have a bad one however, not much os done to cure it.

Decide what you want to accomplish and set clear priorities. Stop treating every new request as a fire drill that goes to the top of the list. Stop asking teams to completely reprioritize on a daily basis.
