Decide what you want to accomplish and set clear priorities. Stop treating every new request as a fire drill that goes to the top of the list. Stop asking teams to completely reprioritize on a daily basis.
I have been at the company longer than anyone on my team and have the most experience. I was deemed a top performer repeatedly. I was still paid less, even after negotiating an increase.

Leadership needs to set clear priorities and stick to them, rather than changing their minds daily/weekly. Performance goals need to be more objective, and reviews less arbitrary. Stop tolerating the "difficult personalities" in leadership just because they have tenure.
