Top Employee Response
just 1 out of 13... so i guess probably not.
Varies from unit to unit but overall very diverse. In our unit of 43 we have 12 women and more than half of our unit are diverse in ethnicity and persons of color.
there are 12 people in my team including the team lead. it grew from just 8 people from 1 year ago. all male, until one female engineer joined about 3 months ago. other teams might have 1 or 2 more. my guestimate is perhaps 15% overall in engineering. which is about the same from what i have seen in the few dozens other companies in the past 2 decades, when i was mostly consultant.

what's your workflow? agile? waterfall?
watergilefall. different groups are doing agile differently. QA, UX and PO... are all shared across many teams. i know many teams, and none have dedicated SM. people rotate to take turn, and mostly just setting up meetings, making the tools/reports align. the team lead has a tremendous amount of authority and responsible. which can be both good and bad. and generally, TLs are good, they know the technology, people, process, managing, business, clients etc, so they can provide good leadership in those areas.
