Promises are almost never kept. Do more for less is the expectation. Meanwhile corporate salaries, stock options and bonus are absurd.
Everything. Meaningful, effective communication. Positive reinforcement. Employee engagement & empowerment. Last but not least, project execution & managing capital.
You need a good sense of humor and composure to hold a career down here. There is nothing positive about the culture or environment. Corporate says safety first, quality on time etc... and then cut budgets and manning expecting better results.
