For the most part it needs major work. Its almost completely negative and EVERYONE needs some kind of training right now I highly doubt my co workers or manager of ours could do CPR if a child was choking. Things need to change in order to be a good child service area.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The children are pretty positive after snack time but that's about it.
What did you like most about the interview process?
There was no interviewing process. I signed a couple papers and was hired.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that we get two days of training even if the training does not help us.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
My co workers are a BIG problem. Even the children seem to dislike the co worker. I have talked to the person about us but nothing has gotten down about, just excuses have been made for the behavior.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We make minimum wage which is okay but after a hard day with 30 + kids you start to think its not very fair. Also I don't have an benefits at all. I think maybe a raise or maybe a little benefit would be nice.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
My co workers need a strict talking to with consequences. Sitting on your phone or computer all day is not okay. Getting in everyones face is not okay! id also like to add that the negativity from said co workers needs to change as well.
