There is a true care of teammates in every decision made. Not always the popular decision but I've personally seen them wrestle with decisions and how the decision will impact teammates.

The leadership team at Bridgestone and within the Marketing COE cares about me as a person. I feel and see that through their interactions with me. I appreciate the culture within the company.

I appreciate that the leadership had the foresight to create contingency plans for different economic situations. When the market changed this year, we know exactly which levers were going to be pulled to adapt. My management also takes DEI and sustainability seriously. Their actions show it.

Open door, understanding and encouraging.

That they are concerned about developing me and giving me a career guide path.

Our leaders feel like real people, not executives hiding in an ivory tower. There is real empathy, practicality, and understanding demonstrated by them, and it makes them feel real and approachable.

Review from Operations Dept
They are invested in their teams and easily accessible.
Review from Sales Dept
approachable, knowledgeable and willing to listen to teammates
Review from HR Dept
The leadership team seems to take on the role of motivators and enablers, which is perfect for someone like myself who likes to decide on my direction and strategize on how to reach goals. It gives the feeling of being supported while also being empowered.
I appreciate how leadership shows trust in their teammates, values work-life balance, and cultivates an environment for professional growth.
Review from HR Dept
Currently we have no incentive to be an outstanding employee. Our bonus program is not based on performance and promotions are few and far between. This makes me question why I should continue to go above & beyond if a colleague would reap the same benefits for doing the bare minimum.
Review from Marketing Dept
Doi not low ball to employees. If you want to keep your best talent, you must respect them and pay them well.
Review from IT Dept
While it is important in our current environment to be fast paced and agile, we have too many competing priorities which clouds our understanding of our organizations goals. This is not a new challenge for Bridgestone but it does seem to be worse at the moment.
Review from HR Dept
Following their code of conduct. They lie to their employees regarding compensation.
Review from Engineering Dept
Everything. Communication. Team building. Everything is negative
Their Transparency needs a lot of work
They need to be better leaders! They need to lead us towards improvement and quality in all aspects. They need to remain humble and treat all workers with respect. They need to listen and actively work with everyone to find SOLUTIONS. They need to SHOW UP TO WORK!
They should start with learning how to be a leader not just bumping up the most senior person
Common sense needs to used more often. Not everything needs to be “critical
Review from Engineering Dept
They need to make sure respect is used
Talk to the workers .Ask them questions
Keeping people like Bill Thompson out of top management
Communication with their teammates. Promoting from within rather than bringing in new management from the outside. Some of us old timers have very valuable skills and insight.
