I have grown within the company and have learned what it takes to be a Bridgestone Teammate.
Review from Marketing Dept
I have enjoyed my time at Bridgestone...would do it again!!!!
Review from Sales Dept
There is a true care of teammates in every decision made. Not always the popular decision but I've personally seen them wrestle with decisions and how the decision will impact teammates.
Review from Marketing Dept
The leadership team at Bridgestone and within the Marketing COE cares about me as a person. I feel and see that through their interactions with me. I appreciate the culture within the company.
Review from Marketing Dept
I appreciate the forward-thinking vision and how that's clearly shared. I appreciate the transparency and accessibility of our leadership team, all the way to the top.
Review from Marketing Dept
The effort that is put into acknowledging teammates.
Review from Marketing Dept
Friendly And they seem to care about me
Review from Sales Dept
Currently we have no incentive to be an outstanding employee. Our bonus program is not based on performance and promotions are few and far between. This makes me question why I should continue to go above & beyond if a colleague would reap the same benefits for doing the bare minimum.
Review from Marketing Dept
Doi not low ball to employees. If you want to keep your best talent, you must respect them and pay them well.
Review from IT Dept
While it is important in our current environment to be fast paced and agile, we have too many competing priorities which clouds our understanding of our organizations goals. This is not a new challenge for Bridgestone but it does seem to be worse at the moment.
Review from HR Dept
Following their code of conduct. They lie to their employees regarding compensation.
Review from Engineering Dept
Everything. Communication. Team building. Everything is negative
The VIP program is a really nice benefit. While not guaranteed, it shows investment in the teammate.
Review from Marketing Dept
Bonus Program + time off
Review from Marketing Dept
The healthcare and 401k options.
Review from Marketing Dept
Med - insurance is the why I like it
Review from Sales Dept
PTO that is offered to employees
Review from Marketing Dept
Before Bridgestone I worked in an industry that underpaid me and it was the only industry I knew. When I interviewed at Bridgestone I lowballed myself b/c I didn't know what salaries were like in this industry. I often wonder if I am making a salary that is comparable to my colleagues.
Review from Marketing Dept
Duties expected go far beyond job description/market expectations for job title, level and compensation. Disadvantaged by the corporate rules of pay increase caps, lack of spot bonus clarity.
Review from Marketing Dept
I believe my experience level and skills I have brought to the company are deserving of a higher compensation tier.
Review from Marketing Dept
Being recognized for the role I perform in, rather than the role I'm titled in.
Review from HR Dept
Better compensation around time off & more competitive pay
Review from IT Dept
Everyone in our COE is committed to excellence and while working really hard, they all keep a positive outlook.
Review from Marketing Dept
We are a close-knit group and we all act very much like family. We all share the same passion to do the best.
Review from Marketing Dept
Fun, caring, creative, helpful, encouraging, honest and friendly. Our team gets work done while having fun and caring for each other!
Review from Marketing Dept
Willingness to get the job done, tackle new and big problems, forward-thinking, an "all in this together" approach, transparency from manger
Review from Marketing Dept
We work well together & all have valuable experiences that all differ from one another. This allows us to get feedback from multiple point of view.
Review from Marketing Dept
Lack of communication between associates and management
Being more aware of whats going on instead of being in autopilot for the entire shift
they are stuck in the old ways of doing things
Review from HR Dept
Acknowledgment that people can and do work hard even remotely (or sometimes especially remotely). The ability to work from home allows flexibility in the day and an environment that's not always 'charged' with energy.
Review from Marketing Dept
The people and what our company stands for - Bridgestone invests heavily in employee development and provides ample resources for us.
Review from Marketing Dept
The care of people. I really appreciate the care that is given.
Review from Marketing Dept
There is a strong amount of respect for one another at Bridgestone and pride for what we do.
Review from Marketing Dept
Teammates are friendly and helpful.
Review from Marketing Dept
Management actually following code of conduct and enforcing it for themselves and HR.
Review from Engineering Dept
Management needs to be revamped. The culture is to oppress people and it should be the opposite
Actually valuing the people that are putting in the work not just the top tier management , But the tech that missed his little boys baseball game because he needed to make rent or Service Manager who's wife would like to see him more than an hour a day
Engage employees to be part of the solutions. Don't deploy programs that aren't tested and don't work as that wastes energy. Allow flexibility to improve things instead of making it hard for employees to do their jobs.
Management in-house and corporate level
Multiple view verting. Slow and hard but complete
Review from HR Dept
There are no redeeming qualities about the hoops you must jump through in order to get the most basic entry level job
The people were personable and put you at ease
Review from Engineering Dept
Interview was held with a panel of managers.
Friendly staff that knows the business
Have workers be involved woth the hiring we know whats required
The people I interact with along with the various products/services and programs we market.
Review from Marketing Dept
The ability to work on projects I am excited about. I feel the work I do makes an impact not only on the company but also on the people we serve.
Review from Marketing Dept
Working through challenging projects that will shift the direction of a large company
Review from Marketing Dept
Being in-person building relationships with colleagues.
Review from Marketing Dept
Teammate interactions and getting to know each other.
Review from Marketing Dept
Work load and pressure. We are a very lean team and keep getting more work added but nothing is moved off the priority list
Review from HR Dept
Leadership is wrong and needs to be replaced with people who want to be successful in the right avenues
Leadership needs to integrate feedback from the stores. There is a major disconnect as senior leadership does not handle criticism at all. Middle managers are forced to absorb feedback but cannot share it with leaders. It's become a culture of fear and intimidation.
Must of store manager are very unhappy with the way Bridgestone is going, they have stated to me that Firestone was great years ago
Executive decision are killing the company
