It is a balanced package of wages and benefits.

All employees can use the BH mental health benefits.

Tuition reimbursement is great if you have time to use it

Vision care and I get the same holidays as my children

Review from Operations Dept

That I can make plans for the future and retirement.

Stock options, multiple benefits, college tuition

Review from Admin Dept

degree program benefits for BA

Review from Operations Dept

The opportunity to have the benefits offered considering the industry I work for.

Review from Admin Dept

college counseling is an excellent opportunity for employees looking to further their education or with college aged children

Review from Admin Dept

the paid vacation and sick days

Review from Operations Dept

Knowing that if something goes wrong with my health that I can take care of myself and provide support to my family.

Review from Admin Dept

The health insurance is really good.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I like the fact that you get sick, personal/vacation, and holiday pay. You start with 21 and the sick, personal/vacation days roll over.

Review from Operations Dept

Great vacation time and sick time

Review from Operations Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Pay is below industry standard for job levels even at the US average. Benefits are also a bare minimum to even what we offer our own clients.

I didn’t say I feel undervalue

Experience should matter more and needs to be more teamwork and respect

nothing, the stress isn't worth any amount of money

There is a lot asked of you each day, with not a lot of pay.

Yes! Opportunities for advancement, and be recognized for our hard work

Didnt receive annual pay increase as promised, yet the workload forever increased

Not paid enough for the sheer amount of work and stress daily due to people not pulling their weight or being understaffed.

Review from Operations Dept

Salaries are horrendous not only for center staff, but in corporate too, especially IT. The CIO is a tool box and plays favorites.

Sometimes when a child behavioral needs 1:1 but I’m pulled in a multitude of directions, I’ve thought “this is above my pay grade” It’s like they want intense 1:1 for every child when you still have 9+ other friends to worry about AND all the teacher stuff you have to do, no signs of

Directors of smaller centers are compensated the same as those at larger center which is unfair

Review from Admin Dept

Employer provide 100% match on the 401k contributions.

Review from Customer Support Dept

We always receive negative criticism

Review from Admin Dept

I feel teachers should be paid more than they are

Review from Operations Dept

my bosses do not allow me the time or resources to make their expectaions

Review from Customer Support Dept

I would feel better if vacation time was offered as a set amount of time each year rather than having to be accrued.

I have qualifications that have never been acknowledged and if they have, they are not taken into account when considering my rate

The amount of work I do and care I provide for the children seems like more than I make.

Review from Operations Dept

I am a lead infant teacher at Bright Horizons and I make just $13/hr. There is a 1:4 ratio of teachers to children and we are doing important and labor intensive work. The low pay rate does not justify all we do everyday to help raise and teach young children.

The amount of sick time per pay period is extremely low. And the pay is no where enough for the cost of living.
